Positive Digital Footprint and Reputation Management Plan

  1. Your slide show was perfect; simple and to the point. I really liked how you pointed out having a list of all your accounts. I know I am really bad with knowing all my accounts. I know I have at least three Netflix accounts. LOL! I also really liked how you pointed out to be present online and aware of what is going on. The online public can be brutal sometimes. I feel like cyber bullying is taking over. There isn’t a day that doesn’t go by someone is posting something about someone in a negative way. Being aware of what is being posted about you is huge! Being present online is also another major step. I know I find myself reading things on facebook and twitter, but never really posting anything about myself. I like reading about other’s lives, but never put myself out there. I need to do better with that. My experiences can help maybe inspire someone else. Why not share it? Great Job!

    • Thank you, Jessica. This project really made me think about how I conduct myself online. I also find myself reading Facebook rather than posting. I can tend to do this on Twitter as well. This EDTECH 543 course really made me get more involved and “present” online. I plan on continuing this into the future. It can be informative and fun at the same time.

      • You always do an excellent job on your projects. Nicely done. I have never thought about officially purchasing my own domain for professional use. It is something that I am going to have to consider in the future. Right now, I am just getting used to maintaining my current blogs and social media accounts. Right now, I am focused on being in the present.
